MOSCOW, Apr. 8 -- Russian exported in January-February 508,400 metric tons of aluminum, 2.4% more than in the corresponding two months last year, the federal customs service reported Wednesday.
The exported aluminum was worth $863.3 million compared with $902.2 million a year ago.
Aluminum exports to countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States during the period totaled 505,900 tons worth $858 million compared with 493,300 tons worth $896 million in January-February 2009.
