Jiangxi Copper still in Talks to Buy Yantai Penghui Smelter
HONG KONG, March 31 (Reuters) - Jiangxi Copper, China's largest integrated copper producer, said on Wednesday that it is still in talks to buy the Yantai Penghui copper smelter.
The comment was made by Chairman Li Yihuang to reporters in Hong Kong.
Separately, Li said the parent company of Jiangxi Copper would start the first phase of production for 400,000 tonnes of lead and zinc capacity next year.
