China's Domestic Selenium Dioxide Prices Reach Bottom Line

iconMar 31, 2010 00:00

SHANGHAI, Mar. 31 (SMM) -- Inquiries of domestic selenium dioxide increased, and prices stayed stable at low levels, with mainstream traded prices in the RMB 480-485/kg range.

It was reported that current costs of selenium dioxide were in the RMB 480-490/kg range after the previous low-priced goods were moved out, and costs of selenium dioxide were basically flat with selling prices. In addition, selenium prices were still above USD 36/lbs in overseas market, and high cost will strongly support selenium prices. What's more, most traders were exporting goods, and supply of goods in domestic market reduced accordingly. SMM believes that selenium dioxide prices will have room to rise further currently, given the stable demand and reduced supply at present.
