Liaoning's Aluminum Semis Exports Increase

SHANGHAI, Mar. 25 -- According to statistics from Shenyang Customs, Liaoning's exports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis were 50.5 kt during the first two months of 2009, with value reaching USD 274 million, up 12.7 times and 19.5 times on a yearly basis, respectively. Total value of aluminum semis exports in Liaoning province accounted for 24.2% of China's total exports.

Liaoning's exports of aluminum semis grew continuously since January 2009, and reached the peak in January 2010, with exports of aluminum semis reaching 36.7 kt, up 29.8 times on a yearly basis.
