Offers of Mn, Se, Si, Co in European Market (2010-2-19)

SHANGHAI, Feb. 22 -- EMM (99.7%) was offered in the USD 2,825-2,950/mt range in the warehouse of Rotterdam.

Offers of selenium (Se ≥99.5%) in Europe increased from USD 30-32 /lbs to USD 32-35/lbs. According to SMM sources, current domestic purchasing prices were in the USD 34-36/mt range.

Silicon Metal was offered in the EUR 1,775-1,875/mt range in Europe; Silicon Metal was offered in the USD 1.25-1.30/lbs range in the US; Silicon Metal (FOB) was offered in the USD 2,100-2,150/mt range in Hong Kong.

Ex warehouse of cobalt metal (Co ≥99.8%) was in the USD 20.5-21 /lbs range in Europe; ex warehouse of cobalt metal (Co ≥99.3%) was in the USD 18.75-20.3 /lbs range; cobalt concentrate (Co ≥8%) CIF at Chinese ports was in the USD 14-14.5/lbs range.
