India's NALCO Tenders to Export 30,000 mt of Alumina - Source

SHANGHAI, Jan. 20 -- India's state-run National Aluminum Co Ltd (NALCO) issued a tender on January 20th to export 30,000 mt of alumina, a source in the company said.

Bids have to be submitted by January 27th, and the metal will be shipped to the buyer in February.

NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last sold 30,000 mt of alumina to Swiss trading firm Alaska Metals in early January at USD 347.85/mt on a FOB basis.
