US Tin Consumption is Estimated to Reach 5.52 kt in 2Q 2009

SHANGHAI, Jan. 19 --  US Estimated tin consumption of  in 2Q 2009 was 5.52 kt, down 3.2% compared the level of 5.7 kt in 1Q 2009, and down 5% compared with the level of 5.81 kt in 2Q 2008.

US refined tin importes were 9.42 kt in 2Q 2009, and were 8.17kt in 2Q 2008. US imported tin in 1H 2009 was mainly shipped from Peru, Bolivia and Indonesia.
