SMM Morning Review - 2010/1/19 Copper Market

SHANGHAI, Jan. 19 (SMM) -- The US market closed for the holiday. LME copper inventories fell by 2,025 mt, and it was the first decline since last October. Supported by the news, LME copper prices held earlier gains in Asian trading hours, with prices ending at USD 7,500/mt, up USD 70/mt. Although prices rallied, spot trading market was not brisk, and time was still needed for market acceptance.
