CHALCO Guangxi Branch Enjoys Direct-Supply Electricity

SHANGHAI, Jan. 18 -- CHALCO Guangxi Branch signed direct-supply electricity cooperation framework agreement with China Guodian Corporation Guangxi Branch, marking the direct-supply electricity program has made great progress in Guangxi province.

According to this agreement, Yongfu Power Generation Company and Nanning Power Generation Company under China Guodian Corporation will supply electricity to CHALCO Guangxi Branch directly in the coming three years, with specific electricity prices set based on reciprocity and mutual benefit.

In March 2009, the National Development and Reform Commission and other department jointly decided to establish the pilot fields of direct-supply of electricity at 15 enterprises, with nine branches and subsidiaries of CHALCO included, like Fushun Aluminum Company, Lanzhou Liancheng Aluminum Company, CHALCO Shandong Branch, CHALCO Guangxi Branch, etc.
