SHANGHAI, Jan. 11 (SMM) -- Coke ex-works prices have been lifted to RMB 2,100/mt in Shandong province, with spot coke prices reaching RMB 2,200/mt. Coal prices advanced increasingly due to tight supply of coal resources in winter, and as the heavy snowfalls hampered coal transportation, helping support coke prices to climb constantly. Coke producers believe there will be high possibility that coke prices will rise further.
