SHANGHAI, Oct. 30 (SMM) --
Refined Copper:
China's refined copper imports were 282.8 kt in September, soaring 152.11% YoY.  YTD imports were 2.58 million mt, surging 164.53% YoY.  Although the SHFE/LME copper price ratio was unfavorable for imports, optimistic investors were stimulated by fluctuating and constantly rising copper prices, as well as by encouraging economic data.  Speculative buying has become the major driving force for the growth of imports.
