China’s silver nitrate output tracked by SMM stood at 616 tonnes in October 2026, down 13.48% month-on-month. The cumulative output for Jan-Oct reached 6,353 tonnes, falling 17.59% year-on-year.

Fortuna reports broad gold mineralisation at Senegal’s Bambadji project

[SMM Gold Flash] Fortuna Mining Corp. has reported initial drilling results from the Kabewest prospect at its Bambadji gold project in Senegal, including 1.9 g/t gold over an estimated true width of 64 metres from 19 metres in hole FBRC0008. Other notable results include 3.1 g/t gold over 24.2 metres from 4 metres and 1.4 g/t over 29.6 metres. The initial programme comprised 45 holes totalling 10,524 metres. The results cover mineralisation extending over more than 600 metres of strike, with further drilling planned. Around 70% of assays had been received when the company reported the results on 2 November. Fortuna plans to use the outstanding results to support an initial Inferred Mineral Resource estimate in the first quarter of 2027.
