Published: Oct 31, 2026 23:07 (GMT+8)
At a press conference on Oct 30, Tan Hongjiang, deputy director of the Power Department under China's National Energy Administration, said computing-power and electricity coordination is developing rapidly, with green-power direct supply taking off. The NEA will fully implement the "strengthen computing with power, boost power with computing" requirement and coordination arrangements in the 15th Five-Year Plan for new power systems, plus new grid and integrated computing network plans. It will also study policies to promote direct green-power connection as a key coordination model, guiding local governments and enterprises on project assessment, selecting typical projects for mutual learning and fostering replicable experience.
