China's Aluminum Exports Rise 17.2% YoY in August, Down 2.6% MoM

According to data from the General Administration of Customs, unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis exports reached 626,000 mt in August 2026, up 17.2% YoY from 534,000 mt a year earlier, but down 2.6% MoM from 643,000 mt in July, a decrease of 17,000 mt. Cumulative exports in the first eight months totaled 4.665 million mt, up 16.8% YoY from 3.995 million mt in the same period last year.
