Jiangxi Tungsten Plant Halts Production for Upgrades, Impacting APT Supply

【Tungsten Flash News】SMM News, Sep 7: A tungsten enterprise in Jiangxi Province has issued a production‑suspension notice. Due to technical upgrading and renovation projects, the plant will officially halt production starting September 7, with the resumption date to be announced separately. The enterprise is mainly engaged in tungsten concentration and APT (Ammonium Paratungstate) smelting. This shutdown will exert a phased impact on its tungsten product supply. The market will keep a close eye on how its resumption progress affects the APT raw‑material segment.

In July 2026, Indonesia's total monthly sulphur imports reached 725,900 mt, up 115.5% MoM and up 132% YoY.
