[Sheets & Plates] Today, export prices for hot-rolled coil and other sheets & plates fell $1-2/mt WoW, with HRC transaction prices concentrated in the $492-495/mt range. As market prices continued to slide, wait-and-see sentiment among buyers outside China intensified.

[India Domestic] India’s domestic steel market saw mixed price movements on a daily basis with finished steel and semi-finished steel prices moved lower. [Steel billet] Today, the FOB export price of square billet fell by $1-2/mt, with offers at Jiangyin Port at $463-468/mt. According to market feedback, current export billet orders are mostly scheduled for October shipment, with a small portion in November. In terms of transactions, China's prices are relatively high, and the market is dominated by a wait-and-see sentiment, resulting in overall mediocre transaction performance.
