SMM August 25 news:
Today, the futures pulled back slightly, and spot in South China gradually recovered. Inventory basically stabilized, with no inventory buildup pressure yet, providing strong support for sellers' expectations of the future market. In the morning, only a few made small concessions to sell, while most firmly held prices and held back from selling. The center continued to rise, and the supply side tightened significantly. On the demand side, downstream maintained the main tone of restocking on dips as needed, with a relatively stable release pace. In the trading sector, the willingness to absorb non-premium invoices kept rising, effectively compensating for the lack of downstream elasticity and forming strong support. The supply-demand pattern improved marginally. Intraday trading recovered, and market sentiment improved somewhat. Spot transaction prices were concentrated in the SHFE aluminum 2609 contract premium of 140 yuan/mt to 180 yuan/mt.
