On August 26, Yunnan Chihong Zinc & Germanium released its 2026 interim report. The report showed that the company produced 146,500 tonnes of contained lead-zinc metal in concentrates in January-June 2026, down 5,100 tonnes YoY, or 3.36%.
At Qinghai Hongxin, the company proactively optimized its production structure to capitalize on favorable market conditions and high sulfur concentrate prices. Sulfur pyrite processing increased by 113,100 tonnes, while lead-zinc ore processing was reduced accordingly, resulting in a 6,400-tonne YoY decrease in contained lead-zinc metal production.
