[SMM Partnership] SMM Computing Power Price Index Adds Yunjie Intelligent Computing as a Price Submitter

In August 2026, SMM’s AIDC Business Division formally signed a cooperation agreement with Yunjie (Shenzhen) Artificial Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. on collecting prices for computing power leasing, and Yunjie Intelligent Computing became one of the price submitters for SMM’s computing power price index.

In August 2026, SMM’s AIDC Division formally signed a cooperation agreement on compute rental price collection with Yunjie (Shenzhen) Artificial Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd., and Yunjie Zhisuans became one of the price submitters for the SMM Compute Rental Price Index.

Under the agreement, Yunjie Zhisuans will, in accordance with the model and regional specifications published by the SMM index, regularly provide price information for its rentable compute server resources, covering monthly package rental quotes for complete machines of mainstream GPU models such as A100, A800, H100, H800, H20, 4090, and 910B across regions including the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Chengdu-Chongqing, and Western China. The scope of server rental price collection covers the server resources rentable from Yunjie Zhisuans in the Chengdu-Chongqing region and Sichuan Province. The cooperation also includes the joint development of the compute rental price index. The two parties will conduct joint research around price signals under different contract structures, including spot cargo quote collection, long-term rental agreements, closed contracts, and open contracts, iteratively improving the product system of the SMM Compute Rental Price Index and gradually establishing a pricing reference benchmark for the commoditization of compute in mainland China.

Market Significance

This cooperation was an important period in SMM AIDC Division’s expansion of its price submitter network. Since 2026, SMM has extended the pricing methodology used in bulk commodity price research to the compute rental market and has launched the SMM Compute Rental Price Index covering five major regions and more than 20 mainstream models. By introducing price submitters such as Yunjie Zhisuans, SMM aimed to obtain first-hand market information through compliant channels, build an open, fair, impartial, and traceable third-party quotation system, and provide reference support for price discovery across the upstream and downstream segments of the compute rental industry chain.

The SMM Compute Rental Price Index (SMM Compute Rental Price Index) is developed and operated by SMM’s AIDC Division and is released via the compute data center at . The SMM website has a daily average page view count of over 500,000. The rental price index covers monthly rental rates for complete machines and card-hour prices for mainstream GPU models such as A100, H100, H200, H800, H20, 4090, 5090, A800, and 910B across five major regions, aiming to establish a commoditized pricing benchmark for compute.
