August 25: Large orders for spot high-end complete machines and futures appeared on the same day, with 128 DELL high-end complete machines (2T liquid cooling) quotted at 13.5 million yuan per unit for spot supply, and another 128 Supermicro high-end complete machines (3T) futures quotted at 11.78 million yuan per unit; H200 leasing supply flourished across multiple locations, with 32 units in Central China offered at 123,000 yuan per month for a five-year closed-end lease, and 64 units in Xinjiang for a three-year closed-end lease delivered by mid-September; Pro6000D continued to release in bulk volume from the supply side at a low level of 73,700 yuan; Saiyi Information signed a computing power service contract worth 6.45 billion yuan for a five-year term.

The highest monthly rent for H100 in the Yangtze River Delta rose to 82,000 yuan (up 1.23%), and the average hourly card rate rose to 13.89 yuan (up 0.65%). The drivers were the release of new high-end resources, the invalidation of the previous highest price, and market feedback from the price submitter; other prices were unchanged. Tight spot supply of high-end products pushed up the upper end of the price range, shifting bargaining power toward the supply side, which mutually corroborated the trend of closed-end price locking in long-term contracts, making the pricing center for high-end computing power unlikely to loosen in the short term.

SMM learned that 32 spot H200 units were released in Central China, with a monthly rental of 123,000 yuan per unit under a five-year closed-end contract. Each unit was equipped with an HGX H200 8-GPU (141G), dual-socket Intel Xeon 8558, 2TB DDR5 5600, and 8×400G high-speed network cards. SMM believes that the five-year closed-end leasing of H200 spot units at a price significantly higher than that of H100 reflects a generational performance premium.
