On August 13, the kickoff meeting for the national standards series “Test Methods for Humanoid Robots” was held in Optics Valley. At the meeting, drafting of seven standards, including General Provisions, Environmental Perception, Decision-making and Planning, and Motion Control, was launched simultaneously. The meeting was attended by more than 200 industry representatives from top-tier domestic players such as Unitree Robotics, Xiaomi Robotics, Magic Atom, ZTE Corporation, DEEP Robotics, Horizon Robotics, Linkerbot, and Galbot, and from universities including Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Northwestern Polytechnical University, China Jiliang University, and the University of Bamberg. At the event, the Working Group on Humanoid Robot and Embodied AI Standards of the Hubei Provincial Technical Committee for Electronic Information Standardization was inaugurated, with its first batch of committee members comprising 29 organizations, including the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, the Hubei Provincial Institute of Metrology and Testing Technology, Wuhan University, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
