[Zhipu: Released GLM-5.3 Model, Performing Better in Complex Coding and Long-Horizon Tasks]

Zhipu (02513.HK) announced today that it released GLM-5.3. It uses the same base model as GLM-5.2—all performance gains come from post-training optimization. Compared with GLM-5.2, it performs better on complex coding and long-horizon tasks. GLM-5.3 offers stronger coding capabilities and is currently the most capable open-weight model, delivering 50% better performance than GLM-5.2 on our internal Z.ai code benchmark. In addition, during post-training deployment at scale, the pace of development of its network capabilities exceeded our expectations. On the CyberGym platform, GLM-5.3 leads in vulnerability discovery, with the most significant improvement in the later stages of exploitation chains—on exploitation benchmarks, it performs more than twice as well as GLM-5.2. Once safety evaluation and hardening are complete, we will release the weights two weeks after launch.

SK On to Supply 18GWh LFP Batteries to NeoVolta for US Energy Storage Projects Through 2031

SK On announced on September 19 a long-term strategic agreement to supply 9GWh of lithium iron phosphate pouch cells to US energy storage company NeoVolta Power from 2027 through 2031 for utility-scale and commercial-and-industrial BESS applications, with production at SK On's US manufacturing facility.
