TrendForce’s latest report points out that, affected by the sluggish macroeconomic recovery, geopolitical factors, and conservative corporate capital expenditure, global LED lighting market demand remains in a short-term adjustment phase, with limited growth momentum in the three core markets of Europe, the US, and China. However, driven by global energy-efficiency regulations, energy-saving retrofits, and net-zero emissions (ESG) targets, lighting producers are accelerating their shift away from traditional price competition and actively moving toward high-value-added areas such as smart lighting and specialized professional scenarios, driving the industry from “volume expansion” toward “product structure and application value upgrade.” TrendForce estimates that by 2030, the global LED general lighting market size is expected to reach $60.942 billion, with a CAGR of 2.6% from 2025 to 2030.
