[SMM Rare Earth Afternoon Trading Comment] In the evening, downstream willingness to purchase Pr-Nd oxide at 730,000 yuan/mt slightly increased, most suppliers were unwilling to continue selling at low prices, gadolinium oxide prices fell further, factory quotes remained firm above 200,000 yuan/mt, and a few traders offered at 198,000 yuan/mt; inquiry activity in the Pr-Nd alloy market remained limited, with low inquiry prices, metal producers continued to lower their quotes, but actual transactions were poor, and the tug-of-war between upstream and downstream continued; inquiry activity in the gadolinium-iron market also remained limited, with quotes falling further to 190,000-195,000 yuan/mt.
