Base Power Raises US$1 Billion to Expand Residential Energy Storage

US residential energy storage company Base Power has secured a US$1 billion funding round, bringing its valuation to US$13 billion and total funding to over US$2.5 billion. The company has deployed more than 23,000 residential battery systems, representing around 550MWh of installed storage capacity, and plans to double its installation pace by the end of 2026 while expanding into more US states and international markets.
