【SMM Aluminum Flash News】UK Recycled 150,684 Tonnes of Aluminum Packaging in 2025, Saving 1.3 Million Tones of Carbon

Alupro has released its 2025 Impact Report, showing that the UK collected 150,684 tonnes of aluminum packaging for recycling in 2025, saving approximately 1.3 million tonnes of carbon through recycled material. Its Every Can Counts campaign encouraged 12.5 million consumers to recycle beverage cans and collected over 70,000 cans at 15 major festivals, while Metal Matters reached more than 350,000 households. Alupro also helped reduce aluminum packaging EPR costs by GBP 8.1 million and partnered with 69 local authorities to further strengthen the UK's circular packaging economy.
