[SMM Flash News] Alliance Resource Posts Higher Q2 Profit on Strong Coal Volumes and Record Royalty Revenue

Alliance Resource Partners (ARLP) reported second-quarter 2026 net income of US$79.6 million, up 33.9% year-on-year, supported by higher coal sales volumes and record oil and gas royalty revenue. Total revenue rose to US$551.6 million, while adjusted EBITDA increased 14.7% to US$185.7 million. Coal sales volumes reached 8.6 million tons during the quarter, although average coal selling prices declined. The company said strong mine productivity and cost control supported earnings and expects higher coal production and cash flow in the second half of 2026.
