[SMM Flash News] Toyota Joins Volvo and Daimler Truck as Equal Shareholder in cellcentric

Toyota Motor Corporation, Volvo Group and Daimler Truck have signed an agreement for Toyota to acquire a one-third stake in heavy-duty fuel cell systems developer cellcentric, making the three companies equal shareholders. The partnership aims to strengthen cellcentric's technological leadership, manufacturing scale and competitiveness in hydrogen fuel cell systems for heavy-duty transport. The companies also plan to work with industry stakeholders to accelerate hydrogen supply chain and infrastructure development, while cellcentric will continue to operate as an independent company serving multiple transport and industrial sectors.
