[Nvidia Uses Vera Processor to Accelerate Next-Generation CPU and GPU Design]

Published: Jul 27, 2026 09:44
NVIDIA posted on its official blog today that as engineering teams work on developing increasingly complex CPUs, GPUs, and AI systems, the complexity of modern chip design continues to increase. To address this challenge, NVIDIA is collaborating with Cadence Design Systems and Synopsys to optimize key electronic design automation (EDA) applications for the NVIDIA Vera CPU. NVIDIA is now deploying Vera in its EDA workflows for next-generation CPU and GPU development, demonstrating how high performance CPU architectures can help accelerate some of the industry's most challenging engineering workloads. Looking ahead, NVIDIA plans to unveil the next-generation Rosa processor built on Vera, featuring NVIDIA Rigel cores, while continuing to optimize EDA applications across its CPU roadmap.
