Sunho New Material Achieves ASI Dual Certification for Aluminum Foil Manufacturing

Sunho New Material Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Henan Sunho Coal & Electricity Co., Ltd., made an important breakthrough in the aluminum sector by successfully passing the dual certification of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI), namely the Performance Standard V3.1 (2023) and the Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard V2 (2022). The certification scope fully covered its aluminum and aluminum alloy foil manufacturing operations. Its production site boasts a strong capacity, with an annual capacity of up to 115,000 mt of thin-gauge aluminum foil and battery aluminum foil, and its production line is equipped with a full suite of advanced equipment including aluminum foil rolling mills, roll grinders, slitting equipment, precision cutting lines, and annealing furnaces. ASI recently announced this news, and the audit for this certification was performed by Shanghai Nuo Hua Wei Certification Co., Ltd. (DNV).
