[Phosphorus Chemical: Leading Manufacturer’s Thermal Process Phosphoric Acid EXW Price Lowered to 9,100 Yuan/mt] On July 15, 2026, a leading manufacturer adjusted its 85% thermal process phosphoric acid EXW price, reducing it to 9,100 yuan/mt. The sharp drop in yellow phosphorus prices shook the cost basis of thermal process phosphoric acid, leading to a “cost support collapse”; moreover, profit rebounds prompted some yellow phosphorus production units to resume production, increasing market supply, and the oversupply further intensified the decline in yellow phosphorus prices; the downward trend in sulfur market prices weakened the cost support for the competing 85% purified wet process phosphoric acid. On the demand side: the market was “priced but no sales”, and downstream procurement was sluggish: although prices fell, downstream enterprises generally held a wait-and-see sentiment of “rushing to buy amid continuous price rise and holding back amid price downturn”, resulting in very low purchasing enthusiasm and sluggish market trading. Previously, due to high prices, traditional industries resisted the high-priced thermal process acid.
