[SMM Aluminum Flash News] Estrella Damm Launches Limited-Edition Aluminum Can Series for 150th Anniversary

Published: Jun 10, 2026 17:45
Estrella Damm has partnered with Crown to launch a limited-edition range of seven 440ml aluminum cans as part of its 150th anniversary celebrations in 2026. Inspired by Barcelona, the brand’s birthplace, the recyclable aluminum cans feature designs highlighting landmarks, culture and lifestyle elements associated with the city. The packaging was produced using Crown’s Accents Color technology at its Peterborough facility, enabling multiple can designs to be manufactured within the same high-speed production run. Crown said the process ensured consistent color quality and print performance across all designs. The anniversary can series will be launched in the UK market ahead of the summer season as part of Estrella Damm’s year-long celebration programme.

[SMM Cast Aluminum Alloy Morning Comment: Aluminum Alloy Futures Rebound Continuously; Spot Cargo Transactions Dominated by Rigid Demand] Recently, ADC12 prices outside China continued to decline, with quotes today pulling further back to the $3,100-3,200/mt range. Meanwhile, China's ADC12 prices remained relatively firm, supported by aluminum scrap costs, driving a continuous recovery in the price spread between Chinese and overseas markets and further narrowing import losses. Currently, the import loss per mt of ADC12 is about 1,087 yuan, having pulled back to early-March levels.
