Hindalco to Expand Aluminum Smelting and Power Capacity in Odisha Without Additional Land Acquisition

[SMM Aluminum Express News] Hindalco Industries plans a brownfield expansion at its Odisha operations to increase aluminum smelting capacity from 680,000 tpy to 900,000 tpy, while expanding captive power generation from 1,230 MW to 1,530 MW. The project will be executed within the existing plant premises without additional land acquisition or displacement and received support from local communities during the public hearing process.
