At the outset of the 15th Five-Year Plan and during the critical phase where the hydrogen energy industry transitions from demonstration applications to scaled implementation, the sector has received another piece of encouraging news. Recently, Haidelizi successfully secured the awarded project for the "Fuel Cell Combined Heat and Power System Integration, Testing, and Commissioning Project" from CNOOC Gas and Power Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CNOOC Gas and Power Group"). This collaboration will fully integrate the resources and technological strengths of both parties, laying a crucial foundation for the multi-scenario commercial application of high-temperature membrane fuel cells.
As a core energy platform under China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), CNOOC Gas and Power Group is grounded in the entire industry chain layout of "gas, power, hydrogen, and carbon." It possesses profound accumulation and significant advantages in areas such as energy system integration and resource assurance. Its technological exploration and industrial practices in fields like solid oxide fuel cells provide solid support for the diversified application of hydrogen energy. Meanwhile, Haidelizi has been deeply engaged in the high-temperature membrane fuel cell sector for many years, boasting mature capabilities in core technology R&D and practical scenario application. This partnership will achieve precise complementarity of resource advantages and technological strengths.
It is understood that the awarded project will focus on the core tasks of integrating, testing, and commissioning high-temperature membrane fuel cell power supply/combined heat and power systems. Through joint research and practical validation,a set of replicable and scalable standardized application solutions will be developed. This solution will not only meet the diverse scenario demands such as zero-carbon parks, marine power supply, data center power supply, and distributed power supply/combined heat and power, but will also provide a practical model for addressing the industry pain points of "dispersed scenarios and inconsistent standards" in current hydrogen energy applications. This aligns with the development trend during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, where hydrogen energy transitions from "policy-driven" to "market-driven."
