






On January 15, 2026, Wang Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of China Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "CSEI"), led a delegation to Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy") for an exchange symposium. Both parties reached a high degree of consensus on deepening all-round cooperation in the hydrogen energy field and empowering the standardized and safe development of the regional hydrogen energy industry. Liu Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy, attended the symposium and delivered a speech. Responsible persons from relevant departments of both parties attended the meeting.
Liu Wei extended a warm welcome to Wang Jun and his delegation and provided a detailed introduction to Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy's development layout and core achievements. He stated that, as the provincial-level core hydrogen energy industry platform established by Shaanxi Province to implement the national "dual carbon" strategy and build a new-type energy system, Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy has established an entire industry chain system covering hydrogen technology, hydrogen production, hydrogen equipment, hydrogen application, hydrogen finance, and hydrogen services. Through 11 wholly-owned subsidiaries and 4 holding subsidiaries, the company is promoting the implementation of diversified businesses, with multiple demonstration projects already operational. Currently, the company is focusing on the implementation of the hydrogen energy standard system and enhancing inspection and detection capabilities. Key projects such as the Yulin Zero-Carbon Industrial Park Hydrogen Production Demonstration Project and the Jinjitan Hydrogen Refueling Station are steadily progressing. Twenty hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks have cumulatively operated for 1.3 million kilometers, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 890 mt. As a national authoritative institution in the field of special equipment safety and energy conservation, CSEI's advantages in technological R&D and standard formulation highly align with Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy's industrial layout. He expressed hope to leverage CSEI's national-level scientific research strength and platform resources to deepen collaboration in core areas such as technological breakthroughs, standard compilation, safety prevention and control, and achievement transformation, jointly promoting the Shaanxi hydrogen energy industry towards standardization, scaling, and high-end development.
Wang Jun acknowledged the warm reception from Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy and affirmed its industrial development achievements, while also introducing CSEI's core positioning and technical expertise in the hydrogen energy field. He pointed out that CSEI is accelerating the construction of a world-class scientific research and technology institution, focusing on its "2433" high-quality development path. It possesses national-level platforms, such as the State Administration for Market Regulation Key Laboratory for Safety of Hydrogen Energy Storage and Transportation Equipment, in areas including hydrogen energy storage and transportation equipment detection and standard formulation. Its core technologies cover internationally leading testing capabilities, such as high-pressure hydrogen material compatibility tests and safety performance tests for liquid hydrogen equipment. It has previously provided safety technical support for major projects, including the gas cylinders for the torches of the Beijing Winter Olympics. The hydrogen energy industry is a national strategic emerging industry, and safety is the prerequisite for its high-quality development. CSEI will fully leverage its technical, policy, and platform advantages to conduct all-round in-depth cooperation with Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy, precisely address the industry's safety development needs, provide solid technical guarantees for the entire life cycle safety operation of hydrogen energy equipment, and contribute to the national carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.
During the symposium, the two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on specific cooperation directions and ultimately reached a consensus on comprehensive and deep collaboration. They agreed to establish a regular communication mechanism to ensure that the cooperation direction aligns with the overall deployment of the national hydrogen energy industry. The focus will be on the core requirements for quality and safety of hydrogen energy equipment, building a virtuous cycle model of "technology empowering the industry, and the industry nurturing research," to promote precise alignment and deep integration of technological R&D and industrial applications. This cooperation will prioritize enhancing the quality and technology of end-user hydrogen equipment, supporting Shaanxi in becoming a nationally leading hub for hydrogen equipment quality technology, and injecting national-level technological and resource momentum into the high-quality development of the regional hydrogen energy industry chain.
