Recently, 20 hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks equipped with hydrogen fuel cell stacks independently developed and mass-produced by Xuhui Times were officially delivered to Xuqiangrui Group in Hancheng City, Shaanxi Province, and put into operation. This deployment is a key move by Xuqiangrui Group to promote the large-scale demonstration of hydrogen energy transportation, marking a substantial breakthrough for Xuhui Times' hydrogen fuel cell stack technology from laboratory to industrialisation, injecting new momentum into the deepened operation of the "Xi'an-Weinan-Hancheng Hydrogen Energy Intercity Logistics Corridor."
The core hydrogen fuel cell stacks of the deployed vehicles adopt Xuhui Times' self-developed "dual 78kW stack" architecture design, delivering stable and robust power output. Test data show that the vehicles' comprehensive driving range can reach 450-500 km, with hydrogen consumption controlled at 8-9 kg/100 km, achieving zero carbon emissions while balancing operational economy and reliability. Leveraging the fully automated production line in Jinghe New City, Xixian New Area, Xuhui Times has effectively enhanced stack cost control capability and product consistency through mass production, solidifying the technical foundation for the commercial promotion of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks.
As a core hydrogen energy enterprise under Xuqiangrui Group, Xuhui Times deeply relies on the Group's closed-loop advantage of the entire industry chain covering "production-storage-refueling-application", establishing a unique development model. Technologically, it co-established a provincial-level academician workstation with the team of Academician Tao Wenquan from Xi'an Jiaotong University, achieving efficient transformation of scientific research results through the Qinchuangyuan platform; the third-generation stack product has entered the final R&D stage, with the single stack rated power expected to increase to 150 kW. Industrially, it leads the establishment of an innovation consortium, linking upstream and downstream enterprises with the "Hydrogen Leap" stack as the core. Scenario-wise, leveraging the Group's low-cost hydrogen sources and local logistics scenarios in Hancheng, it forms a virtuous closed loop of "product R&D - scenario verification - iterative upgrade."
This delivery and operation benefit from Shaanxi's well-established hydrogen energy industry ecosystem and policy support. The Qinchuangyuan innovation-driven platform precisely bridges university-enterprise cooperation, facilitating deep collaboration between Xuhui Times and Xi'an Jiaotong University, and promoting the industrialisation of core technologies. Jinghe New City in Xixian New Area implements multiple enterprise incubation policies by constructing a hydrogen energy industrial park, providing full-cycle support. Hancheng City has also introduced preferential policies such as highway toll exemptions for hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks, promoting the implementation of regional hydrogen energy transportation "small closed-loop" scenarios. To date, 120 hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks have been cumulatively deployed, forming a positive demonstration effect.
This batch deployment of fuel cell stacks onto vehicles not only demonstrates the technological strength of Xuhang Times but also represents an important practice by Xuqiangrui Group in responding to the "dual carbon" goals and deepening the layout of the industry chain. In the future, both parties will continue to collaborate with government and enterprise partners to expand the application of hydrogen energy in transportation, industry, and other scenarios, contributing to the construction of a technologically independent and ecologically synergistic hydrogen energy industry system in Shaanxi, and driving the high-quality development of the regional hydrogen energy industry.
