On January 12, 2026, Shanghai Qingchen New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (Qingchen Technology) and Zhejiang Qingtu Technology Co., Ltd. (Qingtu Technology) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Hangzhou. Zhou Hongbo, Chairman of Qingtu Technology, Guo Zhiyang, General Manager, Yi Peiyun, Chairman and President of Qingchen Technology, and other core executives from both sides attended the ceremony, witnessing this important cooperation aimed at empowering the high-quality development of the hydrogen-powered heavy-duty truck industry.

According to the agreement, the two parties will focus on the core application scenario of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks, integrating Qingchen Technology's technical accumulation and industrialisation capabilities in the fuel cell stack field with Qingtu Technology's strengths in the power system field. They will jointly develop high-performance, long-life, low-cost fuel cell system products, collaboratively advance core technology breakthroughs, industrialisation implementation, and demonstration promotion, injecting momentum into the commercialisation of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks.

Zhou Hongbo highly recognised Qingchen Technology's industry strength, stating that it possesses profound technical accumulation across the entire industry chain from materials to stack products, with leading industry scale in metal stack mass production and verification experience. Qingchen Technology originated from a Shanghai Jiao Tong University research team and has been dedicated to core hydrogen energy technologies since 2005, mastering the entire chain of core technologies from catalysts and membrane electrodes to stacks and electrolysers. The 27-300kW series fuel cell stacks possess completely independent intellectual property rights, with performance reaching internationally advanced levels.

In terms of industrialisation, Qingchen Technology has built an automated stack production line in Shanghai's Lingang area with an annual capacity of 10,000 units. Its products have been batch-applied in multiple scenarios including buses and heavy-duty trucks, with cumulative installations exceeding 3,500 units, accumulating rich experience in the large-scale verification of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks. Currently, the hydrogen energy industry is moving towards large-scale development, with hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks becoming an important direction for replacing traditional car models, and market demand continues to be released.

Yi Peiyun stated that the cooperation between the two parties will achieve precise complementarity between "core stack technology" and "system integration implementation," building synergistic capabilities across the entire chain. In the future, the two parties will establish a regular joint mechanism, focus on the core needs of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks, break through performance, lifespan, and cost bottlenecks, and accelerate the commercialisation process of hydrogen energy in the commercial vehicle sector.
