Hu Yuting Meets with Yan Shengjun and His Delegation to Deepen Hydrogen Energy Cooperation and Facilitate Jilin's "Green Hydrogen+" Industrial Upgrade

On January 12, 2026, Hu Yuting, Deputy Secretary of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee and Governor, met with Yan Shengjun, Chairman of China Tianying, and his delegation in Changchun to discuss deepening hydrogen energy cooperation and promoting project implementation. Vice Governor Liu Wei, Shen Desheng, Secretary of the Liaoyuan Municipal Party Committee, Gao Fei, Mayor of Liaoyuan, Zhao Yanfeng, Director of the Provincial Energy Bureau, and relevant representatives from China Tianying attended the meeting.

Hu Yuting expressed gratitude for China Tianying's support in revitalizing Jilin and noted that the collaboration had yielded fruitful results, with their integrated wind, solar, storage, hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol project in Jilin becoming a benchmark for the "green hydrogen+" industry. He emphasized that Jilin, as the largest green hydrogen production site in China, is leveraging three major initiatives to exceptionally advance the development of the new energy industry, transforming resource advantages into development advantages.

Hu Yuting hoped that China Tianying would accelerate the commissioning of the Liaoyuan project, expand its presence in Jilin, focus on diversifying application scenarios across the entire hydrogen industry chain, and become a deep strategic partner. Provincial and municipal departments will optimize the business environment, support enterprise development through assistance and proxy services, and facilitate more cooperative achievements.

Yan Shengjun thanked Jilin for its support and recognized the vast potential of the local new energy industry. He stated that China Tianying would leverage its advantages in the entire industry chain and core technologies, increase investment, expedite the construction of the Liaoyuan project, deepen hydrogen energy cooperation, and contribute to the high-quality development of Jilin's "green hydrogen+" industry.

It is reported that China Tianying's integrated project in Liaoyuan has a total investment of 28.6 billion yuan. The first phase is expected to have green hydrogen and green methanol production capacity by the end of Q2 2026. Currently, 56 electrolyzers have been delivered and are being installed. Upon completion, the project will achieve green electricity consumption and deep decarbonization, setting an industry benchmark.
