Inner Mongolia Power Group and Baofeng Group Held Talks to Promote Collaborative Development in Green Electricity and Computing Power

On January 9, Zhang Haifeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Inner Mongolia Power Group, and Zhang Xiaohu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, held talks with a delegation led by Dang Yanbao, Chairman of Baofeng Group. The two parties reached a consensus on deepening cooperation in areas such as green electricity supply, computing power support, green hydrogen industry, and ESS projects, jointly promoting the high-quality development of Inner Mongolia's green energy industry.

Zhang Haifeng stated that Inner Mongolia Power Group will fully support Baofeng Group's development needs in Inner Mongolia, accelerate the construction of power supply facilities for the Horinger computing power cluster project, jointly study diversified power trading models, and build a robust power guarantee system to empower the coordinated development of computing and electricity. He expressed hope that Baofeng Group would leverage its technological and talent advantages to facilitate the implementation of the Daqingshan Laboratory's green electricity-to-hydrogen-ammonia-methanol project, promote the transformation of technology from experimental research to industrial application, and deepen cooperation between the two parties in the ESS sector to achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.

Dang Yanbao expressed gratitude for the support from Inner Mongolia Power Group and introduced Baofeng Group's industrial layout in sectors such as new energy, chemicals, and computing power, as well as its technological accumulation in green chemical fields like green hydrogen, green ammonia, and green methanol. He stated that Baofeng Group is actively advancing the construction of the Horinger Computing Center and looks forward to deepening cooperation with Inner Mongolia Power Group in green electricity consumption and ESS support. Together, they aim to explore the circular industry chain of "green electricity-green hydrogen-green storage" and jointly chart a new blueprint for green energy development.

Yan Jun, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Inner Mongolia Power Group, along with relevant department and unit heads from both parties, attended the meeting.
