On December 30, 2025, Li Jingguang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Energy Engineering Group Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hydrogen Energy Company"), held separate meetings at the company's headquarters with Xu Jiantao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "BPE"), and Zhang Zhongqiang, Chairman of Shijiazhuang Enric Gas Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shijiazhuang Enric"). The two high-level meetings aimed to deepen upstream and downstream synergy in the industry chain, focusing respectively on hydrogen-based chemical construction and R&D of storage and transportation equipment, laying a solid foundation for Hydrogen Energy Company to build a competitive advantage across the entire industry chain during the "16th Five-Year Plan" period.

Joining Hands with BPE to Advance Innovation in Hydrogen-Based Chemicals and Green Fuels

During the meeting with BPE, the two sides held in-depth discussions on new energy hydrogen-based chemical construction, technological R&D, and industrial cooperation. Li Jingguang pointed out that, as the core platform for the integrated investment, construction, operation, and capital operations of China Energy Engineering's hydrogen energy business, Hydrogen Energy Company has accumulated extensive resources across the entire industry chain of production, storage, transportation, and application. He emphasized the hope to deepen communication and explore diversified cooperation models, using green hydrogen to promote the construction of a new-type energy system and jointly chart a new development picture for the "16th Five-Year Plan" period. Xu Jiantao acknowledged Hydrogen Energy Company's industry standing and introduced BPE's latest achievements in its strategic transformation. He stated that BPE has developed mature solutions in areas such as hydrogenation and hydrogen production, green fuels, and biomass gasification, and expressed the hope to leverage Hydrogen Energy Company's experience in high-quality project investment and construction for mutual advantage complementarity, jointly serving the nation's new energy security strategy. Li Jingguang and Zhang Zhongqiang held practical exchanges on the R&D of hydrogen energy storage and transportation equipment, industry chain linkage, and the implementation of green energy projects. Li Jingguang highlighted the recently commissioned China Energy Engineering Songyuan Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park (Integrated Green Hydrogen-Ammonia-Methanol) project and emphasized the strategic importance of hydrogen energy storage in cultivating new quality productive forces. He stated that Shijiazhuang Enric possesses profound technical expertise in the field of storage and transportation equipment manufacturing and expressed hope that both sides would use this meeting as an opportunity to achieve collaborative innovation in equipment R&D, project support, and resource sharing, jointly writing a new chapter for future industries. Zhang Zhongqiang stated that Shijiazhuang Enric has been deeply involved in gas machinery equipment for many years, boasting a mature product system in areas such as hydrogen storage cylinders and integrated hydrogen refueling equipment, and has supported several national demonstration projects.
