Recently, Huade Hydrogen Energy successfully completed the production and testing of a 100kW fuel cell stationary power generation system. The equipment has been shipped to a European client and is expected to be put into actual operation as a POC project in a local data center scenario by mid-2027. This delivery not only marks the company's first overseas high-value scenario implementation in 2026, but also serves as a significant practice of adapting Chinese hydrogen energy technology to Europe's hydrogen infrastructure layout.
The shipped equipment belongs to Huade Hydrogen's CarNeu series of pure hydrogen fuel cell stationary power generation systems. As the company's second flagship product besides the HyESS hydrogen energy storage series, it features high power generation efficiency, high integration, convenient deployment, and complete zero-carbon emissions, precisely meeting the composite scenario demands of on-site green hydrogen availability and inaccessible power grids. It can effectively replace traditional power generation equipment such as diesel generators and natural gas internal combustion engines, providing customers with significant ESG value gains. In response to the surging global power demand from data centers, this product series leverages excellent modularity and scalability to quickly form megawatt-level or even hundred-megawatt-level distributed power generation solutions, perfectly matching the dual requirements of large data centers for power supply stability and low carbon emissions.
The implementation of this cooperation coincides with a critical period of accelerated hydrogen infrastructure deployment in Europe. As a core region for hydrogen energy development, many European countries are vigorously advancing the construction of pure hydrogen pipeline networks. Among them, Germany's "Hydrogen Core Network" plan has attracted significant attention. Originally planned to lay 9,700 kilometers of pure hydrogen pipelines by 2032 with a total investment of 19.8 billion euros, connecting ports, industrial zones, power plants, and storage facilities, the plan has now been approved by the German Federal Network Agency. The adjusted total pipeline length is approximately 9,040 kilometers, 56% of which will be converted from natural gas pipelines, with an estimated total investment of 18.9 billion euros. As Europe's pure hydrogen pipeline network gradually takes shape, hydrogen accessibility will greatly improve. Combining Huade Hydrogen's distributed power generation system with pipeline hydrogen supply can effectively address complex challenges such as power grid capacity expansion and power transmission line construction. Furthermore, leveraging the lower loss rate of hydrogen pipelines compared to power transmission lines (hydrogen transmission loss is only 0.0036% per kilometer, far lower than the 6.2% for equivalent distance power transmission) further enhances the economy and stability of energy supply.
As a core high-energy-consumption scenario, data centers are accelerating their transition to zero carbon. Hydrogen stationary power generation systems have become a preferred solution to replace traditional backup power supplies. The deployment of Huade Hydrogen's CarNeu series in European data centers not only helps customers achieve emission reduction targets through fully zero-carbon power generation, but its modular design also synergizes with Europe's hydrogen pipeline network layout, providing a replicable "hydrogen energy + pipeline network" power supply solution for high-value scenarios within the region.
