On January 5, 2026, the fuel cell system independently developed by Jie Hydrogen Technology was shipped from Shanghai and delivered to an overseas client. It will be applied to a fuel cell bus development project in Chile and is expected to achieve batch deployment within the year, covering core scenarios such as business travel commuting and customized passenger transport. This delivery not only marks a successful start for Jie Hydrogen Technology's overseas business in 2026 but also serves as a significant practice of Chinese hydrogen energy technology empowering the green transportation transition in South America.

The 7.5-meter fuel cell bus deployed in Chile has an axle base of 4.3 meters and can accommodate 19 passengers. Its core highlight lies in the adoption of a fuel cell system customized by Jie Hydrogen Technology specifically for light commercial vehicles. With a rated power of 90kW and a peak efficiency exceeding 60%, the system can achieve rapid auxiliary-free cold start at -30°C within 25 seconds. Its reliability and durability are at an internationally advanced level. Leveraging core advantages such as zero pollution emissions, high-efficiency output, and strong environmental adaptability, the system will inject new green momentum into Chile's passenger transport services.

Building on profound technical expertise and extensive operational experience, Jie Hydrogen Technology has established a mature presence in the domestic bus sector. In collaboration with partners, the company has developed multiple fuel cell car models, including 9-12 meter buses and Coasters, which have been deployed at scale in several provinces and cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Jiangsu, and Inner Mongolia. These deployments cover diverse scenarios including public transit, tourist transport, and customized routes, laying a solid foundation for the localized development and operation of the Chile project.

As an economic benchmark in South America, Chile is accelerating its energy transition. The country has not only set a goal to become a global green hydrogen production leader by 2050 but has also introduced a national EV strategy, aiming to achieve net-zero emissions for all road freight vehicles and intercity buses sold by 2045. Jie Hydrogen Technology's entry into the Chilean market aligns precisely with local green transportation development needs and establishes a crucial bridge for Chinese hydrogen equipment to expand into South America.

A relevant representative from Jie Hydrogen Technology stated that the Chile project serves as a strategic foothold for the company's entry into the South American market. Moving forward, the company will use this opportunity to expand into more overseas application segments such as logistics and transportation, deepening its international cooperation footprint. In the future, the company will continue to leverage its proprietary core technologies to promote the large-scale application of hydrogen energy technology worldwide, supporting the global transportation sector in achieving a clean, low-carbon transition.
