SMM January 12 News:
Key Points: LiPure Energy is a startup focused on polymer + silicon carbon anode solid-state batteries. Its first-generation products, ranging from 0.5Ah to 50Ah, have passed extreme safety tests and obtained authoritative certification. The company is advancing capacity construction, with the 1GWh ESS battery project in Jiangxi having entered the environmental impact assessment stage. Through bank credit, equipment supplier partnerships, and pilot projects, the company is accelerating its transition from R&D to market application, initially targeting the e-bike battery swapping and ESS scenarios.

Introduction: Pure Lithium New Energy is an enterprise following the polymer solid-state battery route and is a startup. It has solid-state battery industrial layouts in Beijing, Henan, and Jiangxi.
I. LiPure Energy's Technical Route: Polymer + Silicon Carbon
Solid-State Battery Route: Adopts a polymer high-capacity silicon carbon composite anode system. The "high energy density" advantage will be achieved through the combined path of "high nickelization of the cathode + silicon carbonization of the anode + weight reduction via solid electrolyte."
II. Battery Introduction: First-Generation Products Capacity Covering 0.5Ah to 50Ah
LiPure Energy's business narrative focuses on "solutions" rather than specific battery cell models, reflecting its market-driven approach.
Product Forms: Targeting two major scenarios – "micro power" (e.g., light EVs, drones, special-purpose vehicles) and "ESS" (e.g., household ESS, communication backup power) – the company is expected to provide products at different levels, from individual cells to modules, battery packs, and even system integration. Its cell forms may include prismatic stacked or pouch types to meet the spatial requirements of different applications.
LiPure Energy's all-solid-state batteries withstood extreme testing. After placing a deliberately breached battery in a 120°C vacuum drying oven at constant temperature for 6 hours, the measured mass loss rate was only 0.023%.
The advantages of LiPure Energy's all-solid-state batteries are: First, a "qualitative leap" in safety level, using non-flammable solid electrolyte, completely eliminating the risks of electrolyte leakage and thermal runaway. Second, a "multi-fold improvement" in cycle life, with the cycle life of a single battery exceeding 2,000 cycles, significantly increasing asset utilization and enhancing industrial sustainability. Third, a "significant expansion" in regional markets, as the battery can operate stably long-term at temperatures up to 85°C, suitable for high-temperature and high-humidity regional scenarios. Fourth, a foundational guarantee for battery recycling and reuse, with the recycling rate for all-solid-state battery packs and swapping cabinet bodies exceeding 90%, providing a solid foundation for a green, circular development industrial system.
The 50Ah all-solid-state cell, with its electrolyte-free design, completely eliminates the risk of combustion and explosion, and has a cycle life greater than 10,000 cycles.
III. Planned Capacity: 0.2GWh + 1GWh
Henan Lankao: A production site was established in August 2023 at the SPIC New Energy Industrial Park in Lankao County, focusing on all-solid-state lithium battery technology. In August 2024, China's first all-solid-state lithium battery mass production line was completed there, and in October of the same year, mass production of the 50Ah all-solid-state cell was achieved, marking a new stage of mass production for China in this field. The project's annual capacity reaches 200MWh. At full capacity, it can produce thousands of batteries daily, with expected annual revenue of approximately 200 million yuan.
Jiangxi Hukou: A production construction project for solid-state ESS batteries with an annual capacity of 1GWh. The environmental impact assessment was announced on December 2, 2025. The project investment is 150 million yuan, with a construction period of 12 months.
Vehicle Installation Plan: R&D work on all-solid-state power batteries for the automotive sector is advancing, expected to enter the small-scale trial stage in 2026 and proceed with vehicle validation in 2027.
IV. Patent Overview
Hukou LiPure Energy Co., Ltd. was established in 2024 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing LiPure Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Patent Layout Will Focus On: Core Materials + Key Processes + Structural Design + Application Systems
Core Materials: Solid-state electrolyte formulations (polymer matrix, lithium chemicals, inorganic fillers), modification of high-performance cathode and anode materials.
