The deal marks a new commercial milestone for Seyond in the European smart mobility market.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Image-grade LiDAR solutions provider Seyond recently announced a strategic partnership with Swedish intelligent transportation systems (ITS) infrastructure company Aventi Sweden, winning a project contract valued at nearly USD 2.6 million. The deal marks a new commercial milestone for Seyond in the European smart mobility market.

According to a post on Seyond's WeChat account, under the agreement, Seyond's ITS Management Platform (SIMPL) will be deeply integrated into Aventi Sweden's infrastructure solutions and deployed across multiple critical traffic intersections in Sweden, supporting real-world ITS applications at the urban level.

SIMPL is built on Seyond's image-grade, high-performance LiDAR technology combined with advanced AI algorithms, enabling accurate, efficient and real-time traffic data collection and analysis. The platform provides the data backbone for smart traffic management, helping improve road safety, enhance tolling and traffic flow efficiency, and support data-driven infrastructure operations and maintenance. Designed for diverse scenarios such as intersections and highways, the Swedish deployment represents not only a concrete step in Seyond's European expansion, but also a valuable reference project for scaling its smart transportation systems globally.

The partnership allows Seyond to align closely with evolving demand in Europe's ITS market while enhancing Aventi Sweden's product portfolio with advanced perception capabilities. Seyond noted that its core technology is designed for strong cross-platform compatibility and high adaptability, making it suitable for integration into a wide range of European smart traffic ecosystems and laying the groundwork for broader market penetration.

Philip Lassner, head of Seyond's global ITS business, said the European market is entering a phase of accelerated LiDAR adoption. According to him, municipalities and operators increasingly recognize that addressing complex traffic challenges depends on acquiring high-fidelity, physical-world object data through image-grade LiDAR. He added that the Swedish project represents both a regional breakthrough and a validation of Seyond's long-term view of global smart transportation trends.

Thomas Holstrom, head of Aventi Sweden, said the introduction of Seyond's high-performance LiDAR data strengthens Aventi's ability to respond to the shift toward intelligent, data-driven infrastructure. He noted that the collaboration enables Aventi to deliver high-precision solutions aligned with future traffic analytics and road safety needs, further reinforcing its competitive position in the Nordic smart transportation market.
