Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On December 30, Cao Cao Mobility unveiled two strategic acquisitions aimed at reshaping its service portfolio. The company will acquire 100% of StarRides and plans to take full ownership of Zhejiang Geely Business Travel Services Co., Ltd. ("Geely Travel").

Once the transactions are completed, both entities will become wholly owned subsidiaries, a move designed to broaden Cao Cao Mobility's offerings and position it as a one-stop, technology-driven mobility platform.

Cao Cao Mobility entered the corporate mobility segment in 2016 and, by the end of 2024, had served more than 13,500 enterprise clients. StarRides brings experience in corporate events, daily business transportation and premium ride-hailing, while Geely Travel offers end-to-end corporate travel management along with comprehensive meeting and event services. Following integration, both companies are expected to leverage Cao Cao Mobility's platform scale to continue supporting existing clients. The combined capabilities are set to generate meaningful synergies on the enterprise side, creating a unified platform that spans individual and corporate users, standard and premium services, and the full spectrum of "mobility plus business travel."

The acquisitions are also expected to support Cao Cao Mobility's overseas ambitions. StarRides has already established a presence in 12 major international cities, including Paris, Tokyo and Seoul. Geely Travel, for its part, serves a number of multinational clients. Together, they are poised to accelerate Cao Cao Mobility's push into global markets.

As Geely Holding Group's primary commercial platform for Robotaxi deployment, Cao Cao Mobility plays a central role in the group's mobility strategy. The latest consolidation is expected to further align internal resources and strengthen execution, reinforcing Cao Cao Mobility's position as Geely's core platform for capturing growth in the corporate travel and mobility services market.

Cao Cao Mobility's CEO Gong Xin said the acquisitions represent a pivotal step in building an integrated, one-stop mobility platform. He noted that combining StarRides' global premium service network with Geely Travel's intelligent travel management solutions would allow the company to connect scenarios ranging from daily commuting and executive transport to comprehensive travel management. The goal, he added, is to deliver a seamless and standardized experience for clients, strengthen competitiveness in corporate mobility and business travel, and support long-term value creation in the global smart mobility sector.
