50 Hydrogen-Powered Heavy-Duty Trucks Deployed in Cangzhou, Rongshuo Hydrogen Energy Facilitates Green Freight Transformation in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

Recently, the first batch of 50 hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks from Cangzhou Rongshuo Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Rongshuo Hydrogen Energy") officially commenced operation, injecting new momentum into the green transformation of the transportation and freight sector in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and becoming a significant practice in advancing the regional "dual carbon" goals.

Rongshuo Hydrogen Energy was jointly established by Rongcheng New Energy Group and Cangzhou Transportation Development Group, focusing on the large-scale promotion of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and implementing a collaborative model of "entire industry chain resources + regional scenarios." Leveraging Rongcheng New Energy's hydrogen technology expertise and operational experience, the company integrates Cangzhou's port and industrial logistics resources as well as hydrogen supply advantages to achieve precise alignment between hydrogen technology and transportation needs.

The hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks put into operation this time primarily serve Cangzhou City, Huanghua Port, and surrounding industrial parks, undertaking short-distance distribution and cross-regional trunk transportation of bulk goods such as ore and steel, gradually replacing traditional internal combustion engine vehicles. Each truck can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 100 mt annually, effectively lowering carbon emissions in port and logistics processes and contributing to the low-carbon upgrade of regional transportation.

Currently, Cangzhou has joined the fuel cell vehicle demonstration city cluster, and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is accelerating the construction of zero-emission freight corridors. Rongshuo Hydrogen Energy will seize the strategic opportunities presented by the "dual carbon" goals, leverage policy, hydrogen supply, and scenario advantages, expand the application scale of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks, create zero-carbon logistics demonstration routes, and promote the large-scale adoption and commercial operation of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks.
