Jie Hydrogen Technology Delivers Hydrogen Products to Europe, Empowering Megawatt-Level Hydrogen-Powered Mining Truck Project

Recently, fuel cell products independently developed by Jie Hydrogen Technology were shipped from Shanghai and officially delivered to overseas customers. They will be applied in a European megawatt-level hydrogen-powered mining truck project, marking a dual breakthrough for the enterprise in overseas market expansion and the application of fuel cells in engineering machinery, providing a "Chinese solution" for the green and low-carbon transformation of global mining areas.

Addressing the core technical requirements of European hydrogen-powered mining trucks, such as tonnage, power, and motors, Jie Hydrogen Technology tailored a systematic technical solution that precisely matches the green transformation needs of mining areas. The fuel cell system provided for this project has a single-unit rated power of 260 kW and a rated efficiency of 46.5%. It can achieve auxiliary heat-free startup within 30 seconds at -30°C low temperature, boasting advantages like high efficiency, high reliability, and long life. The system can be scaled up to the megawatt level according to the mining truck's tonnage, and through intelligent control algorithms and full life cycle monitoring, it ensures high attendance rates in mining operations.

Compared to traditional fuel-powered and pure electric mining trucks, hydrogen-powered mining trucks offer significant advantages: zero carbon emissions and low noise during operation, addressing pollution issues in mining areas; higher energy density and longer driving range, effectively mitigating battery degradation challenges in extremely cold regions; fast refueling speed, optimizing the operational pace and cost structure of mining areas, making them a superior choice for the electrification of mining trucks. To date, Jie Hydrogen Technology has completed matching development for over 50 car models and, in collaboration with partners, has developed a 110 mt hydrogen-powered mining truck prototype, fully validating the product's compatibility with heavy-duty mining trucks.

To ensure the smooth progress of the project, Jie Hydrogen Technology customized a one-week offline training program for overseas customers, covering core content such as bench testing, the use of detection tools, vehicle matching, system maintenance, hydrogen safety, and fault diagnosis. This comprehensive approach ensures the subsequent stable operation of the product and has received high recognition from the customer. It is reported that this European megawatt-level hydrogen-powered mining truck project will be used for transporting metallurgical slag, sludge, and other materials in mining areas. Calculations show that it can significantly reduce long-term operating costs, creating a sustainable and replicable green operation model for global mining areas.
