On December 26, the strategic new hydrogen fuel cell product independently developed by Jie Hydrogen Technology was shipped from Shanghai and delivered to overseas customers. It will be applied to a 25 kg-class hydrogen-powered drone inspection project in Germany, marking a key breakthrough in the company's strategic layout from the vehicle transportation sector to the low-altitude economy.
Currently, industrial drones are leading exponential growth in the low-altitude economy. Fuel cells, with their advantages of long lifespan and extended driving range, are widely used in high-frequency, long-route operational scenarios such as power inspections and oil and gas station patrols. In response to market demand for long-endurance, long-cycle industrial drones, Jie Hydrogen Technology has launched its F-series fuel cell products. The system power covers 1kW to 60kW, adaptable to various aircraft models including multi-rotor and vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing drones weighing 10-500 kg, meeting the needs of scenarios such as large equipment inspection, logistics transportation, and emergency firefighting.
The newly delivered F-series product highlights include: a single module rated power of 6kW, employing a closed air-cooling design with a lifespan four times that of open air-cooling solutions; stable operation across a wide temperature range from -20°C to 40°C, refueling taking only 3-5 minutes, significantly improving operational efficiency; the stack uses titanium alloy bipolar plates, reducing weight by over 30% compared to graphite materials, with mass power density expected to exceed 1,400 W/kg, reshaping industry technical standards.
