Recently, the FC100 hydrogen-electric version cargo drone from Hydrogen Sail Technology made its debut at the East China (Jinhua) Agricultural Product Delivery and Distribution Center. Leaders including Xu Xianghui, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Municipal Postal Branch, observed the demonstration on-site and praised its stable performance under a 30 kg load.
With many mountainous areas in Jinhua and high demands for fresh agricultural product transportation timeliness, traditional drones suffer from small payloads and insufficient driving range, which can easily lead to cargo spoilage. Cargo drones that combine heavy payloads with long endurance have become key to opening up logistics channels in mountainous regions.
This drone innovatively adopts a dual hydrogen-lithium power supply mode: in hydrogen-electric mode, it carries a 40 kg payload with a 50-minute driving range, achieving over three times the transport efficiency of lithium battery drones, making it suitable for long-distance transport. In lithium battery mode, which can be switched to with one click, the payload increases to 80 kg, meeting short-distance, high-load requirements.
This debut will enhance the local smart logistics system, synergize with existing equipment, improve logistics efficiency in mountainous areas, reduce agricultural product circulation costs, and establish an efficient "air corridor" for specialty agricultural products.
Jinhua Postal stated that it will continue to deepen the application of new quality productive forces, promote the large-scale implementation of "low-altitude + logistics," and inject "hydrogen momentum" into rural revitalization.
