On December 20, Yihydro Power, a company specializing in hydrogen energy power solutions, successfully delivered a 1kW air-cooled titanium plate fuel cell to an equipment customer. With its modular advantages of being "small yet powerful," the product provides efficient and green power support for small equipment, marking a critical step for Yihydro Power in the large-scale commercialization of hydrogen energy products. It also offers a new pathway for breakthroughs in hydrogen energy applications in fields such as the low-altitude economy and emergency energy.

Air-cooled fuel cells are widely applicable in scenarios such as long-endurance drones, emergency power supplies, and small mobile devices, representing an important niche for the large-scale application of hydrogen energy. However, they have long been constrained by three major challenges: large size leading to low adaptability, making it difficult to meet the needs of space-constrained equipment; excessive weight resulting in reduced effective payload and insufficient energy density; and poor environmental adaptability, making them prone to operational failures under temperature extremes, humidity fluctuations, and impurity interference, which severely hinders their large-scale promotion.

Addressing these core industry challenges, the 1kW air-cooled titanium plate fuel cell delivered by Yihydro Power achieves precise technological breakthroughs. The product adopts ultra-thin titanium bipolar plates, significantly optimizing the stack structure and improving space utilization to effectively resolve the issue of large size. By replacing traditional materials with high-strength, lightweight titanium (with a density only half that of steel), the system weight is notably reduced, meeting the lightweight requirements of small equipment. This also aligns with the rising industry trend of titanium bipolar plates in the fuel cell sector. Additionally, the product boasts superior environmental adaptability, capable of stable operation within a broad temperature range of -20°C to 40°C, with outstanding resistance to temperature extremes, humidity fluctuations, and impurity interference, comprehensively solving environmental adaptation challenges.
